An innate love for all things house + home
Home is an identity
Itβs a safe zone - whether peaceful or hectic - it should absolutely spark joy and represent how you live. Itβs a tapestry of you, and your life.
When designing a home, itβs essential to mix new and old elements, together with treasured items and contemporary design pieces..
Transformative details
Incorporating prints and patterns in a design, with the application of tile, fabrics - and, especially wallpaper - is transformative. Just as effective is fresh paint and a little polish. Palette direction is born out of blending colors and components, built upon from that first grain of inspiration.
Layering materials
Form follows Function
Layering materials - such as ceramics, porcelain, wood, natural stone and brass - adds interest as well as texture, which ultimately gives a space its character.
This Hall Bath was screaming for an upgraded layout from its existing crowded and poorly appointed use of space. While the footprint did not change, a new arrangement plus clever space-saving design choices - including a wall-mount vessel sink + newly accessed built-in linen storage [previously only accessed from the hallway] + pocket door - gave the space generous flow, better balance, and elevated style.
